The Moisture-Proof Food Oxygen Absorber is primarily used in industries such as areca nuts and goji berries, which require both drying and deoxygenation for preservation. The brine in areca nuts is a mixture of maltose and quicklime, normally in solid state. However, maltose is a reducing disaccharide and, like quicklime, readily absorbs moisture from the environment, liquefying into a fluid that contaminates the areca nuts. Goji berries are foods with high inherent moisture content and are highly prone to mold if humidity within the package cannot be controlled. Therefore, preserving such foods requires not only reducing the oxygen concentration inside the package to below 0.1% to prevent oxidative spoilage but also absorbing moisture within the package. With increasingly strict regulations on preservatives, the Moisture-Proof Food Oxygen Absorber is the optimal choice for preserving these types of foods.

    This product is mainly suitable for foods with high inherent moisture content or those with high initial packaging humidity, for example: Areca nuts: Prevents brine leakage and mold. Goji berries: Prevents moisture absorption, caking, and mold. Wet rice noodles, rice cakes, and other moist staple foods. Other foods where the initial packaging humidity may reach around 90%.

      Oxygen Absorber for Roasted Snacks

      Features:

      • Fast-acting deoxygenation, typically causing packaging to collapse within 30 minutes to 2 hours, creating a vacuum-like state that shortens production line transfer times.
      • High oxygen absorption capacity of 140-160 ml of oxygen per gram of absorber.
      • Suitable for low water activity foods, ensuring reliable oxygen absorption even in dry environments.

      Applications:
      Sunflower seeds, peanuts, walnuts, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, macadamia nuts, and similar roasted snacks.

      Important Note:
      This product heats up rapidly after opening the package. It must be used within 30 minutes of exposure to air.

      Moisture-Proof Food Oxygen Absorber

      Features:

      • Dual functionality of humidity control and oxygen removal, effectively reducing water activity in high-moisture foods to prevent mold formation.
